He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnston; his children, Kelly Johnston (Kathy), Keith Johnston (Jay), Tiffany Feazell and Olivia McCowen (John); his grandchildren, Allison, Megan, Hunter, Cassidy, Spencer, Mackenzie, Noah, Kennedy, Jagger, Liberty, Delaney, Reagan, Sophia and Emily; his brother Deek Johnston (Liz); and his nephews, Charles and Mark. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and coworkers.
In lieu of flowers honoring Doodle, his family suggests memorials be made to Claiborne Academy Booster Club or Claiborne Academy Baseball Team.
