It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Ware (Homer, Louisiana), who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Evans Gray and James E. Gray, Sr.; her husband Samuel G. Ware; her children, Baby Ware, Samuel Ware, Jr., Richard Lee Ware and Jerry Randell Ware; her siblings, Jimmy Gray, Evelyn Davis, Blanche and Geraldine; and her sons-in-law, Richard Lee and Brooksie Lee.
She is survived by: her siblings, Iva Nell Taylor (James) of Downsville, LA and John Gray (Gail) of Homer, LA; her grandchildren, Sondra Cottrell Murphy, Charles Wesley Cottrell (Sara), Amy Lee, Robert Lee, Jennifer Lee, Matt Lee (Adrienne), Denise Cavin (Chris) and Phillip Ware (Emily); her great grandchildren, Christopher Bridgers, Dylan Murphy, Annabelle Cottrell, Marley Cottrell, Stephaine Miller, Alex Modisette, Preston Lee, Hayven Lee, Caroline Cavin, Haley Cavin, Abigail Ware and Maddi Ware; and her great great grandchildren, Julleen Salter and Dalton Hayes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
