He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. McClure and Josephine Flores McClure; his wife June McClure; his brothers, Henry McClure and Anthony McClure; and his son-in-law Denny Bays.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard Michael Legendre (Amy) of Homer, Kevin Legendre (Melissa) of Decatur, TX, Deborah Easterling (R. J.) of Homer, LA and Michele Bays of Homer, LA; his siblings, Tanya McClure of Minden, LA, Carmelita Cleveland (David) of Shreveport, LA and John Dennis, Jr. (Bette Lou) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Joshua Legendre (Drue), Stephen Legendre (Callie), Holly Legendre, Allison Prickett (Jesse), Matthew Brown, John Brown (Natalie), Catee Ellerbe (Roger), Chris Ebarb, Dustin Bays, Kristie Beeson (Daniel), Chelsea Lamance, Morgan Reeves (Will) and Jacie Lamance. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring Roy, his family request memorials be made to St. Margaret Catholic Church of Homer, LA.
