With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Franklin McClure (Homer, Louisiana), who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Franklin McClure to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, J. D. McClure and Josephine Flores McClure; his wife June McClure; his brothers, Henry McClure and Anthony McClure; and his son-in-law Denny Bays.

He is survived by : his children, Leonard Michael Legendre (Amy) of Homer, Kevin Legendre (Melissa) of Decatur, TX, Deborah Easterling (R. J.) of Homer, LA and Michele Bays of Homer, LA; his siblings, Tanya McClure of Minden, LA, Carmelita Cleveland (David) of Shreveport, LA and John Dennis, Jr. (Bette Lou) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Joshua Legendre (Drue), Stephen Legendre (Callie), Holly Legendre, Allison Prickett (Jesse), Matthew Brown, John Brown (Natalie), Catee Ellerbe (Roger), Chris Ebarb, Dustin Bays, Kristie Beeson (Daniel), Chelsea Lamance, Morgan Reeves (Will) and Jacie Lamance. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (600 E 2nd St, Homer, LA 71040).

In lieu of flowers honoring Roy, his family request memorials be made to St. Margaret Catholic Church of Homer, LA.
