It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Seay of Homer, Louisiana, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Samuel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Samuel leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cecil Barron, Sr. and Frances Ilawyne Harkey Barron; his brothers, Shawn Seay of Chatom, AL and Brett Seay of Chatom, AL; his wife Sheryl Hill Seay of Homer; and his children, Jessica Seay Cox of Bessemer, AL and Sam Hill of Melbourne, AR..
He is survived by: his daughters, Scarlett Martin (Marvin) of Homer, Destiny Seay of Chatom, AL and Shade Sisk (Matt) of Bastrop, LA; his sister Sara Seay Friedrich (Larry) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; his pet Jolene; and his friend Dr. Cliff Salmon of Homer, LA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nephews.
