He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Nelson, Jr. and Dixie Stratton Nelson; and his grandparents, Virgil, Bankie Stratton, Clarence Nelson, Sr. and Dora Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie Ann Nelson, Tarrah Nelson Coker (Joseph), Shavone Borosvskis (Wilson) and Aarin Mitchell; his siblings, Karen Bailey, Buddy Nelson and Laura Walker (Brian); his grandchildren, Sophia Borosvskis, Colyn Nelson, Maggie Nelson, Charlie Coker and Ryker Mitchell; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by his family and his friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Homer (405 E 5th St, Homer, LA 71040). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
