He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene and Willie Keys Chandler James; his wife Ruth Gill James; and his siblings, Charles Eldon James, Keddy James and Clois James.
He is survived by: his son Darrell James. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Homer (405 E 5th St, Homer, LA 71040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (405 E 5th St, Homer, LA 71040).
