It is with sadness that the passing of Wanda Virginia Huddleston Gilliand (Homer, Louisiana) is shared. Wanda, born on March 21, 1938 in Nashville, Arkansas, passed away on October 24, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Huddleston and Ethel Huddleston; and her husband Bill Gilliand. She is survived by: her children, Steve McKenzie (Angela) of Benton, LA, Jan McKenzie of Lafayette, LA and Pam Greber (Tony) of Youngsville, LA; her grandchildren, Dr. Eric Greber (Lauren) of Thibodaux, LA and Ashlee Moore (Kane) of Lafayette, LA; her great grandchildren, Luke, John William, James, Genevieve Greber, Greyson, Adelyn Shexnyder and Dominik Moore; her sister-in-law Janice Huddleston; and her nibling Benji. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley Chapel Church of Homer (3647 LA-146, Homer, LA 71040). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
