He is survived by: his daughter Summer Perkins (Tristan Hackelton); his wife Melba Ruth Hale Perkins; and his children, Mitch Perkins, Wayne Williams, Carla Alexander and Carmen (Scooter Alexander). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
