We are sad to announce that, on September 14, 2025, at the age of 57, John Collins of Hosston, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jeffery "Roe" Collins. He is survived by: his parents, Betty Mae Wingo and Clarence Voss; his children, Daniel Allen, Johnny Collins, Holly Collins, Rebecca Collins and Ashley Collins; his siblings, Chuck Collins and Jeannie Kopinski; and his caregiver Carol. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
