He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Florence Francis; his children, Albert Joseph Francis (Lori), John Wayne Francis, Dale Anthony Francis, Theresa Francis Verret, Miriam Francis Meadows and Madeline Francis Stewart (Ray); his parents, John Francis and Angelle Francis; his grandson Tyler Lawrence Verret; his sons-in-law, Chad Wesley Meadows and Joseph Lawrence Verret; and his siblings, Ernest Joseph Francis, Doris Francis Verret, Sonny Francis, Cecile Francis Boudreaux, Gertie Francis Verret, Willis Perry Francis and Eustice Francis.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home & Crematory (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
