With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annette Banks of Houma, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Moses Banks and Joseph Banks, Sr.; her son Malcolm Banks; her brothers, Isaac Banks and Edward Moses; and her grandparents, Alma B. Walker and Clyde Moses.
She is survived by: her children, Jamel, Maurice, Darnell Banks, Lashonda and Anita Banks; her grandchildren, Ania Wilson, Alaysia of Maryland, Christopher Banks, Princeton Wilson, Kendrick of Maryland, Malcolm Patton, Ahmad Patton, Hershell Jefferson and Draxion Antoine; her great grandchildren, Malcolm Patton, Jr. and Jeremiah Barrett; and her friend Lonnie Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the PTR Ministries (223 Stovall St, Houma, LA 70364).
