He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sevin-Chauvin and Sandra Boudreaux Chauvin; his stepdaughter Emily Ellen Ledet; his brother-in-law Dr. Douglas Ber; and his godson Bryan Dewey Boudreaux.
He is survived by: his children, Cameron Scott Chauvin (Brittany Corr), Evan Michael Sevin-Chauvin and Katelyn Nicole Chauvin Fletcher (Brandon); his grandchildren, Issac Joseph Fletcher, Lincoln James Fletcher and Hayden Scott Chauvin; his siblings, Shane Chauvin and Dr. Leslie Ber; and his godchildren, Dr. Bradley Ber, Lauren Chauvin and Emma Bunn.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
