He is survived by: his children, Willie Wallis and Rosebud Wallis; his stepchildren, Daniel, Sr., Ashley, Heather, Cassie Burnett, Joshua Wallis and Nieshia Wallis; and his siblings, Debra Danapalcen, Dwayne Nixon, Richard Riley and Travis Nixon. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pilgram Baptist Church (146 Banks St, Houma, LA 70363). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
