He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Wilkerson and Gerald Carter, Sr.; his nephew Bryant Keith Johnson, Jr.; and his grandparents, Clarence, Lillie Mae D. Wilkerson, Alice and John Carter.

He is survived by: his daughter Cornesha Kiera Marie Wilkerson; his siblings, Darrell Wilkerson, Gerald Carter, Jr., Robert Carter, Cynthia Sanders and Deanne Wilkerson; and his godchild L'Crystal Wilkerson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
