It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danny Joseph Hidalgo (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alby Hidalgo and Gladys LeBlanc Hidalgo; and his sister Patrice Marie Hidalgo. He is survived by: his wife Linda Freeman Hidalgo; his daughter Kimberly Hidalgo (Charles); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Kenzley and Evans; his daughter Amanda Bleker; his grandchildren, Luke, Arya and Katie-Scarlet; his daughter Shelly Guilbeau (Jimmie); his grandchildren, Savannah, Brock, Brady and Brennan; his stepdaughter Laura Poché (Philip); his stepgrandchildren, Dr. Zachary Poché and Meghan; his stepchildren, Heather McKnight (Daniel), Matthew Clark (Tina), Jacob, Jayden and Avery; and his brother Brent Hidalgo (Catherine). He is also survived by his loving family but also many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunziata Catholic Church (2011 Acadian Dr, Houma, LA 70363). The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
