He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Smith, and George Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Catherine Green; his daughter Shanell Smith; his siblings, George Smith, Jr. (Donna), Larry Smith, Sr. (Shelia) and Hazel Williams; and his godchild Charmain Oquinn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (147 Cancienne Rd, Napoleonville, LA 70390).
