She is survived by: her children, Mona Lisa Akuetteh Cotton, Shelia Owens (Willie), David Manuel (Gail), Randolph Manuel and Grace Brown (Leo); her sister Effie Jennings of Chicago; her sisters-in-law, Alice Thompson of Baton Rouge, LA, Ruby Moran of Chicago and Ameta Thompson of Gibson, LA.; and her godson Ray Thompson. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren.
