He is survived by: his wife Sharon Melancon Prevost; his children, Shea Prevost Bourgeois (Errol), Parker Prevost and Reis Prevost (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Jaley Prevost, Piper Prevost, Emma Bourgeois, Ellie Bourgeois, Joshua Bourgeois, Jacob Bourgeois, Erica Bourgeois and Justin Bourgeois (Elizabeth); and his great grandchildren, Abigail Bourgeois, Anthony Bourgeois, Isaiah Bourgeois and Benjamin Bourgeois.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
