She was predeceased by : her former life partner William A. Vaughn; her parents, Jefferson Schouest and Jane Schouest; her siblings, Dorothy V. Schouest and Gerald J. Schouest; and her grandparents, Dalton, Amelia Schouest, J. Fabius and Alida Martin.

She is survived by : her children, W. Randal Vaughn (Eileen) of Barnard, VT and Kimberley A. Vaughn (David Norris) of Vancleave, MS; her grandchildren, Natalie Vaughn West (Johnny) and W. Alexander Vaughn (Daniela); and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Schouest. She is also survived by three nieces, a nephew.
