He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Frank" Francis Sr. and Eva Frances Gandees Savoy; his son Monty Wade Savoy Sr.; and his siblings, Charles "Tanky" Savoy Jr., Eugene Savoy, Wally W. Savoy, Sarah Granger and Joan Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Mae Hurst Savoy; his children, David A. Savoy (Mary Jo) and Alana Savoy; his sister Charlene "Ene" Savoy; and his grandchildren, Adrienne Stringer (Justin), Caleb Savoy (Ferah), Wade Savoy (Angie), Allen J. Savoy (Keren) and Julia Savoy. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
