He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Michel Sr. and Jeanette Hotard Michel; and his sister Judith Michel Melancon. He is survived by: his sons, Blair Michel and Bryce Michel (Ryland); his close friend Barbara Autin; his grandchildren, Jeremy Michel (Ashley) and Caroline Olivier (Devin); and his brother Earl P. Michel. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chauvin Funeral Home's Magnolia Chapel (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (8594 E Main St, Houma, LA 70363). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
