He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Scott; his parents, John, Sr. Scott and Rosetta B. Scott; his children, David Scott, John Scott, Archie Ellis, Johnny Ellis, Beatrice Scott and ShaKay Scott; his great grandchild Talyraa Sherman; and his siblings, John Scott Jr., Willie Scott, Zach Scott, Joe Scott, James Scott, Priscilla Hawthorne, Beatrice Howard and Leola White.
He is survived by: his children, Yvette Scott (Jack) of Houma, LA, Isaac Scott, Jr. (Theresa) of Schriever, LA, Glenn Scott of Schriever, LA, Joseph Ellis (Sonia) of Schriever, LA, Charles Ellis (Dorothy) of Slidell, LA and Lionel Ellis of Lafayette, LA; his grandson Rev. John Scott (Pam) of Houma, LA; and his friends, John Clark, Albert Lagarde, Kevin Lorio and Brittany Gayon. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 56 great‑grandchildren, and 12 great‑great‑grandchildren.
