He was predeceased by: his wife Marynel O. Williams Ledet; his daughter Denese Ledet; his granddaughter Sonya Garner; his parents, Eugene Ledet and Lucille Ledet; and his siblings, Enes, Hewett, Druis, Eugene Ledet Jr., Sadie Rhodes, Hazel Plaisance, Inez Henry, Gladys Bouzigard, Felicia Rizzo, Bea Steinmetz and Dorothy Autin.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Ann Esponge (Phill) and Kenneth Ledet; his stepdaughters, Phyllis Landry (Mike) and Pamela "Pam" Mouton; his grandchildren, Coy Rivas (Hector), Coby Esponge (Tina), Brandon Esponge (Sarah), Teisha Esponge, Dustin Landry (Bridget), Tori Garner, Hailey Garner, Chase Garner and Caleb Thibodeaux; and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Kaylee, Ryleigh, Kamryn, Jaxon, Lily, Brewer, Brielle, Knox and Maddox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
