She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel J. Griffin, Sr.; her parents, Walter J. May, Sr. and Rinda Posecai May; and her brothers, Walter "Sonny" May, Jr. and Darell May, Sr..

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Griffin, Jr. (Lydia) and Michael Griffin, Sr. (Candace); her grandchildren, Christopher Griffin, Lauren Griffin Prosperie (Michael) and Michael Griffin, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Lainey, Margaret and Nathan Prosperie.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make donations to TARC.
