He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hudson Fitzhugh Morris; his son John F. Morris; his parents, Hershal "Pug" Morris and Medora Burrow Morri; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Fitzhugh.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt and Richard Morris; his siblings, Robert Morris (Linda) and Claudia Morris; and his brother-in-law Bob Fitzhugh (Jan) of Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memories Cemetery (3658 W Main St, Gray, LA 70359).
