It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John K. Young of Houma, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on October 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mouton Sr. and Louella Mouton; his grandparents, Willis Young, Sr., Rita Young, Rose and Milton Paddio; and his nephew Michael Landry.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Castle Young; his children, Destini Young, Nekeisha Castle and Jaquinton Celestin; and his siblings, Denise Young, Yvette Mouton, Josephine Williams, Joseph Mouton, Jr. and James Siner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Residence Baptist Church (2605 Isaac St, Houma, LA 70363). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
