With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce Rita Rodrigue of Houma, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joyce left this world on December 13, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Russell "Rod" Rodrigue; her grandsons, John "JJ" Frisella, Jr. and Marc Boudreaux; her parents, Edwin Charpentier, Sr. and Adeline Hebert Charpentier; and her siblings, Donald Charpentier of Edwin, Charpentier, Jr. and Ruth Charpentier Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Rodrigue (Shirley), Carla Frisella (John), Jody Chaisson (Bart), Margo Porche (Philip), Tami Alleman (Clenese "Sonny"), Edwina and Joy Rodrigue. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (8594 E Main St, Houma, LA 70360). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
