He is survived by: his fiancée Beth Powell; his son John Gilmore; his daughter-in-law Christine; his grandchildren, Chloe and Logan; his brothers, Paul Gilmore (Alice) and Mike Gilmore (Charlotte); and his pet Abigail. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360).
