Hughes (Linda); his grandchildren, Laura Ellender (Jamie), Michael Navarre (Jennifer), Audrey Hughes (Nick), Olivia Hughes Nyman (Chase), Robert B. Hughes (Peyton) and Birkie Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Navarre, Easton Navarre, Liza Ellender and Gray Nyman. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the West Park (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
