She is survived by: her husband James Donald Owens; her mother Easter Marceil Hammill Haynes; her daughters, Jamie Owens Hebert (Christopher Dame Hebert) and Janelle Owens Simmons (Alvin Christopher Simmons); her grandchildren, Kailyn Elizabeth Simmons, Elise Aimee Hebert and Avery Christian Simmons; her siblings, Timothy Dudley Haynes (Tammy) and Johnnie H. Wise (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Pat Owens Herald (Don) and Butch Bearden (Peggy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends.
