Thomas of Houma, Louisiana, born in Haynesville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband J. R. Thomas; her parents, Howard S. Sherwin and Vida Mae Bordelon; her son Richard (Barry Thomas); and her grandchildren, Brandi Thomas and Richard Thomas Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Janine Thomas Boudreaux (Donald); her sister-in-law Verna Thomas; her grandchildren, Denise Thomas Dufrene (Brent), Candice Ganaway (Kevin Doucet), Robert Thomas (Christie), Corey Boudreaux (Desiree), Brandon Thomas and Bridget Thomas Stein; her great grandchildren, Brett, Austin, Maddie, Terra, Izabella, Brody, Zoey, Kanyon, Jackson, Blake, Makenzie and Phillip; and her great great grandchildren, Remi and Riley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Park-Houma (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Town Cemetery.
