She was predeceased by: her parents, William King and Nettie King; her siblings, William, Hoffman, Vernal, Elphie, Earl, Gordon, Tommy King, Dolores Dunn of Terrebonne Parish, Dorothy Duet of Terrebonne Parish and Geraldine Pugh of Terrebonne Parish; her husband Don Cen Tex Smith of Midland Texas; and her son Don Steven Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwaine and Derel Smith; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Brittany, Kacy, Lauren and Dylan. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St Matthew's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 568, Houma, LA 70361.
