He was predeceased by : his father Dr. Roy G. Lasalle; his stepfather Lindsey Dumond; his siblings, Francois "Skipper" LaSalle, Roy "Buddy" LaSalle and Patricia "Pousette" Vincent; his godson Avery Vincent; and his father-in-law Johnny J. Viator.
He is survived by : his wife Johnetta Viator LaSalle of Houma; his children, Jean-Michael LaSalle of Baton Rouge, Mallory LaSalle of Youngsville, Marie Chouest (Kobe) of Cut Off and Monique LaSalle of Houma; his granddaughter Gianna Chouest of Cut Off; his mother Patricia Dumond of New Iberia; and his siblings, Claire "Babette" Lastrapes of New Iberia and Thomas (Katherine) of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
