Mike Mathena Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Mathena (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mathena and Doris Mathena; his son Christopher Michael Mathena; and his brother Thomas Mathena. He is survived by: his brother Greg Mathena; his grandchildren, Hal, Alex, Annaleigh and Kylee; and his uncles, Roger and Wendell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grand Caillou Baptist Church (3497 Grand Caillou Rd, Houma, LA 70363). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Grand Caillou Baptist Church.
