Nicholas Ian Clay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicholas Ian Clay (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 35. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Nicholas' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Nicholas' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He is survived by: his sister Aaren Clay (Wayne Vermeire); his parents, Kimberly Eubanks (Sloan) and Timothy Clay; his grandmother Arlene Clay; his aunt Barbara Hogenstad (Lawrence); his uncle Pat Clay; and his cousins, Jon Hogenstad (Terry) and Rachel Hogenstad (Mark). He is also survived by his softball tournament teammates, who were among his closest friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rescue Rehome Repeat (RRR) or to the Lafourche Animal Society (LASI), organizations chosen to honor Ian's deep love of animals. RRR donations may be made by check payable to Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana.
