She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Robert Martin; her son Steven Martin; her son-in-law Lyn Spikes; her granddaughter Laura Rembert; her parents, Wesley Champagne and Beulah Champagne; and her siblings, Florence Webre, Wilma Cressoine, Abby Champagne, Edrith Boudreaux and Beulah Mary McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Collins, Christine Spikes, Sandra Luke (Mark), Toni Dupre (Stuart) and Daniel Martin (Shelly); her daughter-in-law Deborah Martin; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Sabrina, Nicholas, Amanda, Hershel, Robert, Ryan, Jeremy, Danielle, Kimberly and Jonathan; and her brother-in-law David "Butch" McCormick Sr.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (8594 E Main St, Houma, LA 70363). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
