He was predeceased by : his sons, Michael Sr. and Chris; and his parents, Paul Clement and Zelma Clement. He is survived by : his wife Vivian; his sons, Carson (Rowena) and Kurt Sr. (Lorraine); his daughter-in-law Belinda; and his grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Rhonda), Russell (Leslie), Bessie (Dusty), Crystal (Rusty), Steven (Britany), Kayla (Kraig) and Kurt Jr. (Mariah).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church - Pointe (1237 LA-665, Montegut, LA 70377).
