We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 76, Phillip Smith (Houma, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Felician Smith and Mabel F. Smith; and his brothers, Thaddeus Boudreaux, Roland Smith and Kenneth Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Smith; his children, Denise Triche (Kirt) and Billy Fanguy Sr. (Casey); his grandchildren, Shea Triche, Jensen Triche, Chandelon Fanguy, Mekenzie Fanguy, Billy Fanguy Jr. and Frankie Duplantis (Vera); his great grandchildren, Cayleigh Triche, Cooper Triche and Faya Verdin; his siblings, Brenda Smith, Barbra Billiot, Linda Yocham, Elizabeth "Tuckie" Tovar, Patsy Duthy and Russell Smith; his godchildren, Michelle Duplantis, Regina Gautreaux, Randilyn Percle and Becky Smith; and his brother-in-law George Duplantis (Irma).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church (8594 E Main St, Houma, LA 70363).
