He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Madison DeHart and Samantha Green (Donquel); his grandchildren, Jaxson, Rylie, Sydni and Mazikeen "Mazie"; his mother Gloria Verret; his siblings, Elizabeth Gautreaux, Merlin DeHart Jr. (Pearl) and Chris DeHart (Samantha); his sister-in-law Jackie Bellanger (Bob); his godchildren, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Ezell and Chelsie Lacoste; and his close friend Louis Chauvin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
