She was predeceased by: her son Martin E. "Buzz" Dickerson, Jr.; her parents, Alex Myles and Matilda Lagarde Myles; her grandparents, Julius, Charlotte Lagarde of Maryland, Jessie and Irene Thomas Myles; and her siblings, Eugene Myles, Johnny Myles, Rosalie Myles and Barbara August.
She is survived by: her husband Martin E. Dickerson, Sr.; her children, Courtney, Ebony Dickerson and Alec Dickerson (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jasmine Simmons and Jonathan Woodard; her siblings, Irene Holly, Vivian Watson, Druzella Williams, Betty Lewis and Curtis Myles (Lorena); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Dickerson, Lubirda Myles, Laura Harris, Mary Bolin and Oliver Dickerson (Betty). She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the The Living Gospel (140 Corporate Dr, Houma, LA 70360). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery (2 6124 W, Main St Houma, LA 70360).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Lucy Catholic Church or The Living Gospel Church Houma Assembly.
