He was predeceased by: his father Elmo Bergeron; his wife Diane Moore Bergeron; his mother Gladys Dunnell Bergeron; and his brothers, Hank and Gus Bergeron.
He is survived by: his children, Rudy Jr. (Susan), Eric (Tammy) and Alicia (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Luke, Ella, Ethan, Karleigh, Katelynn (Christopher), Dakota, Noah (Coryn) of Chloe, J. E., Samantha (Alvie) and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Raeleigh, Silas, Hadley, Gunner, Brooklynn, Izak, Jesse and Grady; and his siblings, Frank, Jack, Janice, Sam and Sarah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
