She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Miller, Sr.; her father Herbert Adams; and her grandparents, Carrie Walker, Clarence Brown, Pearly and John Adams.
She is survived by: her mother Shirley Adams; her children, Roy Miller, Jr. (Sarmona) and Catisha Chism (Brandon); her siblings, Kenneth Adams (Leola), Paulette Adams (Lamark), Rhonda Keller (Kenneth) and Lisa Adams; her uncles, James Walker, Sr., Claude Adams, Sr. and Henry Adams; her grandchildren, Arienna Miller (Cornelius), Alexia Poindexter (Anfernee), Briana Chism and Alaysia Miller; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Aria Poindexter and Aspyn Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the New Rising Sun Baptist Church (230 St Charles St, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
