Ortiz of Baton Rouge, Julie Garrett of Gibson, Denise Garrett of Gibson, Cassandra Garrett of Chackbay, Bishop John Garrett, Sr. (Kendra) of Land O'Lakes, Victor Stewart of Gibson and Carmelia Garrett (Danielle) of Houma, Louisiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
