He is survived by: his wife Shela "Teet" Smith; his children, Kelly Brewer (Ted) and Shawn Smith; his grandchildren, Reese, Mason and Grant; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Zachary; and his siblings, Elliott Jr. (Sandy), Linda Smith, Arlene Kelley, Leah Owen (Richard) and Gary (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Park (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
