We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2026, at the age of 89, Edith Caroline (Carolyn) Pearson Means of Ida, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. Pearson and Edith D. Pearson of Bradley, AR; and her siblings, Carl Janel Pearson of Pace, FL and Diana Elizabeth Hall (Frank W. Means) of Avinger, TX. She is survived by: her husband Frank Means; her children, Ronald Pearson of Ida, LA, Nanette Means of Shreveport, LA, Belinda Poole of Shreveport, LA and Tony Means (Stephanie) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Ronald Pearson II (Angelle), Nicole Koff, Hope Means, Nicholas Means and Luke Means; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pearson and Loraine Means. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
