He is survived by: his wife Rosie "Jimmie" Herring Thompson; his children, Patricia Ann Hiner (John), Tommy Gene Thompson and Steven Gregory Thompson; and his grandchildren, Randell Thompson, Greg Thompson, Ragen Thompson, Halee Thompson and Rachel Hiner. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethsaida Cemetery.
