He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lee C. Gardiner Jr., Peggy Gardiner, Wardell Murphy, Martha and Fred Bork; his aunt Michelle Ann Bork Lamb; and his brother James Wren Gardiner.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Gardiner; his son Brent Gardiner, Jr.; his parents, Lynda III and Lee Gardiner III; his siblings, Athena Thompson, Garrett Gardiner Sr. and Anthony Love; and his siblings' children, Victoria, Garrett Jr., Bailee, Kylee, Carlee, Kendall Love, Kali, Kaci, Katherine, Lynlee and Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
