He was predeceased by : his daughter Patricia Wolfe Matherly; his grandson James Edward Farley; his brothers, Alvin Wolfe and Hansford'Ducky'Wolfe; his stepbrother Sherman Lee; and his children-in-law, Debbie Chappell and James Matherly.

He is survived by : his wife Mable Marie Mills Wolfe; his daughters, Rita Hinton (Curtis) and Ronald'Ron'Wolfe (Yvonne); and his grandchildren, Christopher Wolfe, Stephanie Wolfe Roller (Josh), Jenny Wolfe (Amy), Jessica Rene Hinton (Tall), Mary Hinton Cruz (Carlos), Kelly Hinton (Brad), Deborah Warrick (Chris), Curtis Lee Hinton, Joshua Farley (Brittany), Joseph Farley (Shelly), Mary Lynn Matherly (Travis) and Jake Matherly (Nickie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401).
