It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Earl Ebarb of Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Arnone Ebarb; his siblings, Carol Michelli and Danny Ebarb; his son Samuel "Bo" Ebarb; and his parents, Sallie Ebarb and Daniel "Dan" Ebarb.
He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Renee Cernich (Danny); his sisters, Lavern Bourgoyne, Margaret Sossaman and Linda Miller; his grandchildren, Joseph Cade Cernich (Grace), Cobie James Cernich (Laura), Tyler Dan Ebarb and Kyle Ebarb; and his great grandchildren, Landon Joseph Cernich, Annaleigh Grace Cernich and Kynnedy Ann Ebarb.
In lieu of flowers donate to Richard Murphy Hospice House or St. Helena Catholic Church.
