He was predeceased by : his parents, Delvin and Virginia'Jeannie'Ballard; his sisters, Susie Degenhardt, Iris Prime and Maxine Howell; his in-laws, Dewitt and Elaine; and his grandmother Degenhardt.

He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Ann Ballard; his son Joseph'Joe'Ballard; his grandsons, Zach Ballard (Jesslyn) and Scott Ballard (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Allison, Owen and Montana; and his brothers, Shelby Ballard, Gary Ballard and Mitchell Ballard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
